Did a lil banking weekend a few km behind gasparee, only big cro cro and small salmon, water wasn't dat bad except for a huge rogue wave we saw coming like from 1 km away out of nowhere.

Manzan Tuesday, water real clean but the wind was so so strong dat it interfere with casting, and caused the water to be really rough fishing difficult, just some stingray and a nice size pompano.

Nice one, wahoo like the results of the low pressure we always get now down to march, greater surface height closer to shore so that neutral zone shifts a bit closer.

The only good fish I catch in mayaro is whiting, they right in the surf zone. Shrimp does the job for me but alot of folks use sandfleas and chip chip. If you like to wade out and throw out a live bait like the four eyes or a small cro cro, you might get lucky with a cavalli, that's proton's specialty here on the forum lol.

Thanks meccalli, lol. Sinnaz25 go manzan instead boi, water clean it hv real huge chip chip, sandfleas and nice size finger mullet in waist deep water. Dat mean d cavalli around, I went Monday but had rotten shrimp, only caught a tawat and whiting but on fishbites.

Only chuf chuf on d rotten shrimp, but once u hv fresh shrimp u on, or the finger mullet. The cavalli does take shrimp even if u don't get livebait.

Just really strong breeze in manzan I'd d problem right now......

What line you using? If you use something like 30lb braid, the smaller diameter should make it less of an issue when casting.
