simple viruses cannot be taken lightly anymore....the antibiotics etc not doing the same job as it used to, the viruses have mutated and have different strains for each one....so a simple cold could be fatal...

Antibiotics don't do anything to viruses. They kill bacteria or stop their growth. Doctors aren't even supposed to Rx antibiotics for colds. Only suspected bacterial infections.

too late, got it a good many years ago, that's how i know it dread, lol. i didn't go to hospital, just did a blood test to confirm and then home treatment. vitamins, pain killers, and rest... because there isn't much else to do except dead.
my blood count remained high enough that it wasn't critical. it was lower than normal, but not critically low. but if it did get bad, i was out!

and no, antibiotics is not for viruses. that is for if u get an infection by bacteria. viruses u have to get some sort of anti viral agent. usually, that is done by your own body making it. u get infected and then ur immune system realizes it is there, analyses it, then manufactures a suitable antiviral "thingy". it then fights it off, and most times, keeps that pattern so next time it shows up in ur body, it recognizes it, and then attacks it, mostly before u become subject to the virus.

aids, different in that it changes too quickly and attacks the immune system itself,, so ur body doesn't recognize it, then doesn't have the systems able to fight it. and it renders u susceptible to normal viruses.

that is the gist, as i remember it.

and that is a serious issue. the misuses of antibiotics, is causing the bacteria to become tolerant of the antibiotics and rendering them useless. its like they become immune to the antibiotics.

because antibiotics is like a last strong defense, and misuse is weakening its effective use worldwide, i would have liked that antibiotics be only administered by professionals. so as to ensure as much as possible, the bacteria developing resistant strains.

^^^ something important to note Antibiotics don't fight viruses. But often you do see doctors prescribe it for whatever reason. Antibiotics only work on infections caused by bacteria and fungus etc not infections caused by viruses. And when you use Antibiotics for years it becomes less effective and your immune system becomes weaker. It is also linked to Type 2 Diabetes aswell.

It also kills the good organisms in your stomach that help digest food and may aid in you becoming lactose intolerant.

Best advice lots of Vitamin C eat good healthy stuff like Broccoli, Cauliflower etc and you will be less likely to get these viruses and when you do you will fight it off much quicker with less effect on you. I try to eat broccoli as often as I can as its one of the super foods but its so expensive.

Just to let you know , theres a weird virus going around and its really very widespread, Lots of Body pains, joint pains, very similar to ziika or Gunya, But no Fever, no vomiting, but some people are getting rashes, its not ziika, not chikengunya, its a virus peeps.

You confirmed a virus by isolating it via electron microscopy from a patients blood sample?

About 3 days. If you have other symptoms, esp red eye and joint pains you should do a zika test 4 days after the rash started. If u near a medical associates they do the test for 150 and results within half hour.

I got the same thing also joint pain , eyes red , rash all over miy body ..doctor said she see's at least 10 ppl with the same thing and it's not zika or chikengunya also got blood test blood plates was good , it went away in about 7 days just like zika strange enough ...

Did you do a zika test to show that it wasnt that? It's only detected after 4 days.

My rash has started to subside today.
That's what is left of the rash lots of tiny red dots all over my body extremely itchy and has lasted I think 12 days started with red eyes and swollen hands

Know someone with these same symptoms but just with the red eye. It started with a fever and sore throat about three days before then spots all over the arms followed by weakness of the fingers which worstened as time progressed. After some panadene, the patient was good in 3 days. Zika test was not done after 4 days though.
