It is illegal if you make it while the truck had the green light, and deadly too.

if that was the case.
good thing it was a truck to take them out than some innocent family losing their lives/getting injured because of their sheit.

does not matter to me if its bunji family. too many innocent people die of reckless and inconsiderate driving already.

And STILL the carnage continues, even when people are NOT speeding, they continue to break No entry signs, Break traffic lights, make ILLEGAL u-turns etc... and police driving right at the scene do NOTHING.....

Actually, I have noticed that drivers are 'inching-up' their operating speed.

I now saw the site where the accident happened in wallerfield, the place in a mess with parts, oil ,glass etc and flowers planted on the spot they died. It looks as if it was a right turn they made and the truck carried them to the right on the median . Truck tyre marks show he tried to stop real hard.

Truck had a low boy trailer attached so stopping would've been nearly impossible

Can't expect mentality to change with 6 guns. It's human nature too. Nothing unique to Trinidad. Only way you would see the change you're looking for is if there was more enforcement.

So is that our police force is understaffed, untrained or uneducated? , or have they returned to sitting down in their stations and doing nothing?
If the only way to get citizens to obey the laws is by having police actively patrolling them like stupid grazing cows, they where are they?

That accident by Cumuto junction somebody had to breach the traffic light, I more feel it was the truck. I highly doubt them young girls would put down gansta drive plus they from the area and would probably pass there almost everyday.

Everytime you post it's some question looking at things from a negative angle. 6 guns has zero to do with understaffing, education or training. Rome wasn't built in a day. Be glad they started somewhere instead of being impatient after all of 2 months. The police service is changing.

Do you view the populace as being patrolled like stupid grazing cows when you go abroad to places like Canada or the US?

Looks like there's 3 categories of drivers on the road right now:
-who try to maintain the 80
-who think acceleration is a crime
-who back to normal.

I still torn on the speed limit. I wish they could raise it heading south, but as it is, my gas mileage real real good now.

Roads wet since last night, already seen 5 accidents , all look as if they are due to skidding,
SLOW down peeps, take your time , better you reach a little late rather than. Not at all.

Wish they'd enforce the keep left except when overtaking law. Too much fools keeping pace with the car next to them these days.

car in the right lane meets car in left lane.
car in left lane speeds up to as some muffler bearings do to overtaking cars speed, which is just around or above 80km/h.

should car in right lane drop speed, and look for a spot behind car in left, which will slow down again as soon as that happens, OR maintain the speed it was doing for the last couple kilometers?

They should get out of the right lane if they cannot safely complete their overtaking.
