I did not get my 2012 and 2013 returns yet

went in this week and 2013 still processing
and they will have to see what is happening with 2012 seems they could not find it on the system

I told them I have 2014 which I need to file.

oh lord look ting pressah... pal how could u be 100% sure? I doubt they did tho.. I didnt get 2013/ 14 yet either so I think it wasnt released otherwise u have some running around to do to get new cheques.

happened to me aswell think you have to wait 6 months then go in to them to collect it

I went to Trinidad house in June/July to check on applications for myself and wife. They indicated that both cheques (ours for 2013) were scheduled for printing on that day. She got hers in the mail and I didn't get mine. We have different mailing addresses. Post office confirmed reciept but couldn't say who was responsible for misplacing it. Highly likely that they fcuked up, and continue to with my mail. TTPOST gone to the dogs when the NZ contractor left.

A cheque takes 6mths to be stale dated.....so BIR might want to wait before reissuing a cheque to confirm it hasn't been cashed. You should find out their procedure with these type of situations. Or just wait....ttpost might find it.

If you are in ttpost Curepe area there is a possibility that some mail got destroyed . I usually would have gone to tax office in POS also to check up on my 2014 returns because I usually get mine on time but not as yet for this year. Which floor did you have to go to check if your cheque was sent out already ?

I got my print out that mine was accepted for 2014 but I still visited them and they said the actual cheque should be out in January 2016.i think I submitted somewhere around April or May 2015

I feel I will have to make a pass in the BIR office to see what going on. Submitted 2013 return in June of this year and nothing yet so far. Never been this long to get a return before.

Tried using the e tax to find out the status of my 2013 return and it keeps brining up that return not found. This be the longest I ever waited for a return to be processed.

However one of the Commissioners of the Board of Inland Revenue recently said that the Min of Finance is responsible for issuing funds to BIR for returns (PAYE, VAT etc). Given the GORTT's cash flow problems these funds have not been coming with regularity and would explain the delays in refunds.

I'm now trying to do the ttconnect registration which is needed to get the etax online system.I only saw the forms until 2014 but there is an etax registration that I will try and see if I can register from there.

I had da go in and leggo some cuss.......they tell me I owing them 17k because they no longer accept T vehicles expenses for salesperson and we allowed that last 5 plus years and no mention by employer about this change. I know fellow coworkers that have T vehicles and got theirs approved.
