Easily set up your PC to automatically fetch & download your desired TV Show Torrents, then place them in the respective sorted folders, updating your Media Server such as Plex in the process. It's done by setting up a program called Sonarr, and linking it to your download client such as uTorrent
After explaining the process to some friends of mine, I decided to do a little tutorial explaining how to set this all up.
With Android TV Boxes running Kodi etc. being all the rage at the moment, I figured those of you who still download your shows- be it for quality or preference- may find this handy. It makes setting up a Home Media Server very simple, as shows are automatically downloaded and quality is updated without you having to do anything after you've added the shows to Sonarr.
If you're familiar with PushBullet, you can even set it up to receive mobile notifications on your device when a Torrent is fetched, downloaded and even upgraded.
There are links in the video to some shorter tutorials on linking Plex to Sonarr, and an introduction to the TV Showtime app- Its basically an app that allows you to keep track of your shows, when they air, when they preview etc, and it has a nifty Chrome extension that blocks spoilers on social media for shows you have not seen yet.
Note - This is not a promotion of piracy.

Yup, RSS works fine, however Sonarr offers some tweaking that makes life easier. In fact, Sonarr supposedly works by scanning the RSS feeds of the Indexers chosen, but it allows more control & Organisation. You can set quality control, limitations, track the shows using a GUI etc. It's worth at least checking out, probably the best option I've seen for torrents.
Sonarr has a fantastic UI and a breeze to install. It handles failed downloads very well. I have used both sonarr and sickrage to automate my downloads and for some reason still default to sickrage. Maybe I should give sonaar another try.
I use Sickbeard and SABnzbd ect. when I'm using Usenet/Newsgroups, however this setup is based solely on using Torrents. That being said, Sonarr works marvellous with Usenet + SAB.
Those of you who wish to check your Sonarr can connect it to your mobile device using apps such as NZBUnity, NZBManager etc.
They've recently launched a sister program that does the same for Movies, it's worth checking out. Might do a short tutorial, since the basics are very similar to Sonarr
