this phone comes in different models for different carriers.
SM-N900 - Exynos Version (International).
SM-N9005 - Snapdragon Version(International).
SM-N9002 - Snapdragon Double SIM(Chinese).
SM-N9005T - Snapdragon Version (T-Mobile)
SM-N9005P - Snapdragon Version (Sprint)
SM-N9005A - Snapdragon Version (AT&T)
SM-N9007 - Snapdragon Version (Optus)
SM-N900W8- Snapdragon Version (Canadian)
SM-N9000Q - Exynos Version(Turkish)
SM-N9000- Exynos Version(Supposedly International,but don't know the difference with n900)
check the hardware and ensure it is the same. lets use these two phones
SM-N9005P - Snapdragon Version (Sprint)
SM-N9005A - Snapdragon Version (AT&T)
Use the net to compare specs such as cpu's, storage etc and they should be the same.
the main difference in mobile variants is either the network connectivity (3g, 4glte etc), cpu specs and storage space.
once the hardware is the same go to sammobile and enter the firmware for your local country, trinidad would use the N9005 version...and download that firmware...
download a program named odin
and with your pc use this guide to flash the firmware...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy- ... e-t2983873
once flashed your sim should work...
i personally flashed a few samsungs that was locked to at&t and it all worked flawlessly.
BEWARE that some CDMA phones do not carry a sim slot and will not work in trinidad....so choose carefully and be smart... any questions feel free to contact me...cheers
