Wow can't believe we lost to a team with Nzonzi :( How different it could have been if Nacho hadn't been denied by the post.

Sigh

True that. Playing away from home too it was always going to be a difficult match.

Add to the fact that

Keylor was injured
Marcelo was injured
Sergio Ramos went off injured
James was lacking fitness
Benzema was unavailable
No matter what people say, Ronaldo cannot play as a 9
Still can't understand how Casemiro still getting game time. The man is pants.

Keylor, all set for the 'Clásico'
Keylor Navas is ready for the 'Clásico'. The Costa Rican keeper was back on the training ground on Wednesday afternoon and the coaching staff have confirmed that he has fully recovered from his injury. The shotstopper was back between the sticks looking sharp and will definitely play in the game against Barcelona on Saturday.

Navas has been out of action for two weeks, during which time he has barely been able to train and spent time in a hyperbaric chamber. He was injured in the return game against PSG, after heading into the match with a niggle (having felt a twinge in the previous meeting with the Parisians at the Parc des Princes) and then pushing his luck by playing against Celta. He was rested against Las Palmas and ideally should not have played in the second match against the French outfit, but Real's need to secure their place in the last 16 as group winners meant he had to play.

After two weeks in dry dock, Keylor has now returned to full training and will put an end to his absence in front of Real's goal. He will play his first ever 'Clásico' on Saturday.

James and Marcelo also fully fit. Benzema could also be available.

Benitez was never the answer. I said that from the beginning. Perez was looking for a Spanish boyfriend so he hire this waste.

For the past 3-4 years Benitez has been failing. Should have kept Don Carlo and allow him to rotate his squad as he see fit. Benitez has an eye for defence, but could never balance it with a powerful attack.

Even the players fed up of his training tactics and player role switching on the pitch. Added to that, like some players need to see the bench for a long time to start to buck up! Ramos, Varane, Ronaldo, Bale, Modric all looking disjointed and unsure.

As long as Benitez goes, Madrid could return to their normal attacking ways that led to 118 league goals last season. Just need that defence to keep focused and remember what their roles are.
