Casillas' form has dropped over the years and supporters have the right to criticise the players as much as they encourage them.

This happens with any player of any club in any league.

But I don't believe Casillas will leave as a disrespected player. He's moving on now instead of having to rot on the bench, THAT would have been disrespectful.

I believe the fans are the most important resource to a football club, they are the ones paying year after year on tickets, merchandise, and player t shirts. So they should be allowed to voice their opinions on whether or not a player is performing badly.

Come August this whole Casillas being disrespected thing will be put to rest. The boos or a lack of sending off won't make him less of a player or a legend.
