Did you do an update recently...that could be the problem....or did you try to root the phone?
My son tried to root his phone and the same thing happened....i tried everything to recover the phone but still not working...check your "Baseband version" under settings, more, about device...if it shows "none" well you have a problem.
You can go to sammobile.com and register. then download the correct firmware for trinidad and tobago...that may work...
