Hope Pakistan beat Ireland.

Here's the detailed scenario for WI to qualify for the faithful WI fans
(without considering the result of the IRE vs PAK match).

1. Both the UAE vs WI and IRE vs PAK cannot be washed out
2. Assuming WI bats first and scores 300 against UAE , they need to win by 67
runs to take their run rate above Pakistan's. If they bowl first and UAE scores 300,
they need to score 301 in 37.4 overs or less.

If the above two scenarios play out, then WI will go to third in the table before a
result is achieved in the IRE vs PAK match. (WI will still qualify in 4th position though).

100 for Dilshan
100 for Sangakkara, his 4th century on the trot.

Imagine Dilshan, Sanga and Mahela are 38, 37 and 37 respectively and still playing like guys in their early 30s.

3 matches to go after the preliminary round finish...if McCullum get the Kiwis to the final and they win it with him scoring a few more big runs he would be my Player of the Cup.
If Sanga get SL there then he would be Player of the Cup.

De Villiers is a real boss. Man coulda nudge a single for his hundred though instead of the big extravagant drive. 3rd man with a WC 99 now. Has the most WC sixes ever though.

If it's a day game there's the regular lunch break between innings ....If it's a day/night game it's called the dinner break...

So the only way WI will not progress now is if the PAK vs IRE
match ends in a no result or a tie. (Weather forecast is clear for
the match).

^ TBH given the teams there the only upsets would be if WI or Bangladesh wins their quarter finals. Any of the other teams all very good and are capable of winning their matches without it seeming out of the ordinary.
