Unipet launches Gas Card and Mobile App

St. Augustine regularly has problems at the pump with cc.
I see no point to this venture unless you're trying to limit your young one on gas money for the week or something... even then... just give them the cash.

The app is also not even a reason to want it

would have gotten it if i could use it at the pump like a debit/credit card, no service fee (wtf?) and some form of benefits to using their stations like rewards, points etc

Isn't the commission on fuel set by the government? Sounds like a runaround way to make an extra 3.6 to 6% on fuel sales.

CC had a few problems now and then, just like using linx. Majority of the times it works and saves a lot of time.....but even with the CC you always have the person behind you who thinks it not fast enough.

Bumping ah ole thread.

Anywhere in central still has working CC at the pump?

Brentwood is complete failure almost daily and they dont seem interested in fixing it. Even the cashiers dont take CC most times

I live chaguanas and use Brentwood almost twice a week and I always pay at the pump with credit card with no problems.

Only once some time last year I remember linx was down so I had to pay by the cashier

Duane have a 3ne2nr issued black card. That does always work.

I also always have run into alot of issues using cc at brentwood

I have an RBL c/card and buy gas at Brentwood at least weekly, and never had problems.

Only once sometime last year they had issues, and they told me before I went to try the card that the card reader at the pumps were not working.

I use CC @ Brentwood Weekly and i would say about 90% of the time it works...

Medford, about 80% of the time...

Once in a while you may get "communication error"

Brentwood was completely closed off yesterday with caution and danger tape all around the entire gas station.

Anyone know what happened?

^^^ apparently the guy who owns tuner was there and his CC was not working they had no choice to close the station to make a speedy resolution to the problem

Same, I only fill at Peake and the new NP on Wrightson Rd heading West. Never an issue.

easy way to reset the pump for the CC to work..

lift nozzle and flip the latch hold clear - 5 seconds, same with other nozzle - 5 seconds and then clear on the keypad

then it works... takes 1 min total

and yea, i not for lineup to swipe card or pay with cash

sometime this week (i believe it was wednesday) CC wasn't working at medford...they taped up all the card slots though :lol:

Was now wondering if I imagining these issues. I go Brentwood 3 times a week and lately 2 out of those 3 times CC not working, including when they tape off the card slots ^^^.
