Currently looking to purchase speakers for a 5.1 system. It will be used for movies and music. What do you all recommend.
Also please share reviews of the speakers you currently have.

Receiver -Yamaha RX-A830. Budget for speakers around $1000 usd & sub around $600 usd. Was looking at floor standing but they are more costly, don't mind bookshelves

^ Order through pricesmart.

You'll get bent with shipping otherwise.

I'm looking to buy these to replace my old Infinity speakers

https://shop.pricesmart.com/tt/en/produ ... ker-system

I already have an 8" Bic America and Polk PSW10 subs

You can take a look at this, within budget

https://shop.pricesmart.com/tt/en/produ ... -subwoofer

when you order from the website how long does it take to get here?
Is that the final price or you have to pay more when it gets here?

Only ordered some tools that weren't available at the branches locally before.

Took about 3 weeks but paid the price they quoted.

But that was a few years ago.

Still contemplating the 5.0 speaker setup.

When I do decide I was going to contact customer service first to verify final cost.

Off the website

Online product pricing includes standard shipping, handling and all duties and taxes.

Price does seem too good to be true, think I may contact the local coordinator for verification.

The final price on the invoice is what you would actually pay. The price is believable, the set retails for around $200 US online. Good option.

@rollingstock do PM bring in anything or just what the have on their website.

Looking at the Klipsch line of speakers, thinking about using the RC-52 II for center & the RB-51 II for front/surround. Would like to get a local review on these speakers, if possible.

excellent sounding speakers. Some audiophiles who prefer more flat sound may find the Klipsch are a bit too bright on the higher frequencies but I like them, especially for movies.

IMO you can honestly use the RB-41 II for the rear/surround.

I bought a car stereo bundle fron the site a couple years ago. It took 3-4 weeks to reach my branch. The price stated on the product description is what you pay and includes shipping and taxes. Unless you opt for faster shipping which costs more.

^ ebay has some really good deals on Bash 300. I was looking at one when my Klipsch 10" sub amp started giving problems. I opted for a refurbished Klipsch 12" amp that fit right back into my enclosure. But if I didnt get that I was buying the Bash 300 from ebay.

you could look into those house amps
gemini, sound barrier etc
those usually sell for 1000-1500 and will be more than enough

a bash 300 will run upwards of 13-1500
