Question fellas, I got a new tank about 3 weeks now, and the fish I've got seem to be very antisocial. :| They all stay in a corner hiding behind some fake plants.

I have noticed that once the light is off at night and no one is around they come out a bit.

Sorry if it has been discussed before, but allyuh have any suggestions?

You should remove some of the plants from the tank for the while, Esp the ones in the corner. Those fish don't really need hiding places.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will probably remove all but the tree in the center. And leave the light off till they get accustomed.

I thought 3-4 weeks would have been enough for them to "thaw out".

Some fish take months to get used to their new environment. It's just a matter of time. Those are community fish you have. They will eventually come out and swim about all the time.
