AS INVESTIGATIONS continue into Friday morning’s shooting death of a Cocorite father of one, police maintained yesterday that the murder of 42-year-old Dennison Rodney was as a result of road rage.
The person responsible for killing Rodney remained on the run last night.
Police reports said Rodney was shot and killed at about 4.30 a.m. Friday, shortly after he left his home.
While proceeding toward his office at Vemco Ltd at Diamond Vale Industrial Estate, Rodney, who was driving a Toyota Corolla got into a minor accident along the westbound lane.
Both vehicles, police said, were seen pulling to the side of the roadway and Rodney and the other driver exited their cars and a confrontation ensued.
Shortly afterward, Rodney was observed walking toward his car. However, it was at this moment that loud explosions were heard and Rodney fell to the ground.
The driver of the other vehicle, police were told, was seen with an object resembling a firearm in his hand. The driver subsequently ran back to his vehicle and was seen speeding away.
The car which had reportedly been used by the killer was later found abandoned at Pioneer Drive in Petit Valley and after crime scene officers checked the car they concluded that it had been stolen. There was a minor scratch on its rear bumper. —GG

TBH as much as I dont usually share the same views as ZR she is kinda right there in that alot of the population really have a don't care attitude and a overly selfish way of carrying about their day to day lives.

This does result in the lazy/rude/nasty behavior/littering/sheit driving etc tat occures on a daily basis, you may not realise it as it has become a way of life...but it is definitely there.
