I have the Gold headset, works perfectly with both 3 and 4. Great for multiplayer and sneaking in game sessions in the middle of the night.

Sound quality is great for the price and the custom posts on some games does a wonderful job in surround. Will recommend...

I'd go with the gold headset if you play online a lot as well. I find the stock headset a little soft. I almost never use my surround sound when playing online with friends

I just finish gta 5 yesterday on ps3. Had it since launch. Will start playing gt6 again soon. Not like there's a whole lot to play on ps4 anyways
