Sammy cant play as a long as Bravo playing..they are like for like so is one or the other. Same as Russell actually. We cant pack a side with all-rounders who are all neither top twenty bowlers or batsmen.

think gayle should only be used for T20 now at this stage. no point in playing him continuously for the hope of a big score every 6 or 7 innings.

The unexpected start

At around 8.30 local time, a person involved with the commercial activities of the series posted a Facebook status which read, "Bangladesh is going to bat first. West Indies won the toss…"

It sent everyone scrambling because even on the eve of the first ODI, the WICB had confirmed that the match would start at 9.30 local time, with the toss happening at 9am. Even after the match began 30 minutes early, at 9.00am, the WICB and BCB websites had the timing as 09.30.

Apparently, the time was changed at some point in the last few weeks, and was mentioned in the MoU between the two boards, because of light issues later in the evening. Ten Cricket, one of the official broadcasters, had the match for a 6.30pm start in India (9am local time). With only a handful of spectators present at the ground when the first ball was bowled, did the start time also confuse the public in Grenada?

This taken of Cricinfo after the 1st match. In typical WICB fashion they did something without advising the public. TV is ruining the live spectator experience!!

Hundreds for both Ramdin and Darren Bravo, the boys doing well, after the poor start.

Why two of the four specialist bowlers didn't finish their 10 overs quota?? Never understood this strategy.

Now how did sammy get that kind of treatment from bravo......I swear something is brewing here....

Sammy wasnt given a ball to bowl in this game.........imagine that being chosen as a front line bowler...he didnt get to bowl one ball in the teams 50 overs....!!...

Plus he wasnt in the pics at the end with the team and their trophy......he came to take out pics with them and they all scattered.....he was seen handing someone a cell phone to take out pics of himself in front the winner banner.....wth....

WI was very scrappy at the end...laughing and behaving like unprofessionals whil bangaldesh got 16 runs in the last over......disappointing end.....

this was a big big game...

imo Dwayne Bravo should stop bowling and concentrate more on batting srs thing.ah feel it for Sammy though.I am giving Narine until the India series before he is reported for a suspect action.

yea narine smart, he wont play games against england or those bigger sides. i realised he suddenly becomes injured last couple yrs or dont get selected against teams where his impact may cause them to raise concern. from the naked eye its clear that alot of his deliveries are done with his elbow very bent

It's his doosra, one that behaves like a leggie, top guys like Jenner have been saying that over the years, its a ball impossible to bowl with a completely straight arm thus why the aussies banned it in their coaching. Icc allows for a particular degree of bend now though. Only way I see a legal deviant delivery would be similar to the flipper but it would be blatantly obvious to read.

wicb is so stupid.

they insist on playing games in these tiny freaking countries where no one goes out and watch them. then they schedule the T20 to be played at night during the rainy season. whats the point of the night game on a wednesday? people from that island doesnt even go watch cricket in the day on a saturday why schedule the game in the night.... steupss
