Am looking for tyres with drive comfort, confidence in wet roads and excellent performance in dry conditions.

I should also add that depending on the size u need, foreign used tyres could be considered

   just saving you money bro.
just head to tyre clinic or mileage mack.
ask for non chinese tyre. check threadwear, traction and temp ratings.
check date of manufacturer. we're in 2014 so i wont buy anything made before 12.
dunlop, sumitomo, kumho, michelin, hankook are all brands that would serve your purpose well.
buy what suit your pocket

I don't like directional tires (more work for wear rotation flipping them on the rim).
I run maxxis UA603's and CS735's.
I love both those tires. but UA603 is my preference.

Sailun and roadstone are of the same level grip (figskin) in my experience.

never heard of nangkang, I think you meant Nankang. Nankang is actually a good tyre, not to be classes with sailun or winda (wth is winda?)

Yea I is not Nankang Godfather to know. Never heard of Winda either until now. Jacks Tyres selling it. He said it is made by GoodYear but I read it uses GoodYear technology, don't know if they really make it.

I used to believe in toyo, but the set of nexen I have on the car really are outlasting and outperforming the TOYO. Losing faith in brand name rubber.

Hoss, performance wise and tread-ware, I find Nexen doing better than proxies. Nexen gripping good and it is near to the wear indicator. As soon as proxies get anywhere near the wear indicator traction goes south. Brand new Proxies perform better though and have less road noise, so there is that.

^^ Really can't remember.. did not know there were low end proxies. Mine had two solid central bands on each tyre tread, and they were diractional... don't know if that helps with an ID of the series.
