TV6's Mark Bassant makes Big Mistake!!

TV6 investigative journalist Mark Bassant just carried a story on a young man who alleges that he was buggered by police officers in Sangre Grande on multiple occasions in 2011. Bassant changed the names of all involved, and blurred out his face to protect the victim's identity. However, in airing the letters that the young man wrote to the Ministry of National Security, TV6 neglected to blur the victim's name on the letter, which was clear for all to see. So all the aliases were for nought.

It's symptomatic of society as a whole.What's even worse is that butchering of the English language is accepted because it's cool to be stupid and ignorant.
I read so much poor English on a daily basis that it's beginning to look correct.

Somehow I feel it's intentional and they really don't care. You ever notice that for all tv6 investigative pieces they make very poor attempts at blurring the victims faces. Anybody from their area or who know them personally could make them out. Without showing the police report with his name, all the people in Guaico done know who he is because certain features were clearly visible despite the attempt to blur.
