Yes but following the advice of a fellow tuner, buying it from amazon and bringing it down will cost more than purchasing the phone locally. As taxes and clearing fees add up to little under $1000 tt and shipping and handling fees are added , plus the original price of the phone

I've never brought down a phone before but if this is true I rather buy locally

If this is not true I would prefer to order the d802 model (South Korean variant) with the micro sd card slot!

WRT cost: it's not as bad if you bring it through skybox as YMMV. Sometimes it's ridiculous, other times it aint.

WRT Nexus 5 and Z1. It's a bit cool that you can take out the Z1 when your hands are dirty, snap a pic and wash off the grime after (seen this exact occurrence). Also the camera features are cool. The screen is the downfall of it. The z2 screen is far better. The z1 feels much more solid in your hand although I prefer the nexus 5's feel as it's lighter.

WRT Battery life, you'd get better battery life on the z1.

Why newer phones are not considered? eg. HTC One M8 and S5?

cant afford the newest model phones at the moment , however I am thinking of starting a local review blog capturing aspects of phone use , in everyday life for the average user! I can also expand on computers laptops and general opinions on technological advancements today!

send it back to HTC. I believe a user in this thread ended up doing this. It's a very intricate process which will break your housing.
