cant afford the newest model phones at the moment , however I am thinking of starting a local review blog capturing aspects of phone use , in everyday life for the average user! WRT Nexus 5 and Z1. It's a bit cool that you can take out the Z1 when your hands are dirty, snap a pic and wash off the grime after (seen this exact occurrence). Also the camera features are cool. The screen is the downfall of it. The z2 screen is far better. The z1 feels much more solid in your hand although I prefer the nexus 5's feel as it's lighter.
WRT Battery life, you'd get better battery life on the z1.
Why newer phones are not considered? eg. HTC One M8 and S5?
