Bought 2 last year. After the 1st molt 1 killed the other. Remaining 1 has molted 4 times again. Approximate length 5"-6"(head to tail). Usually feed liver and has eaten both corydoras that were its tankmates. Keep a natural environment(gravel rocks caves plastic plants)

U need a lot if space as dey r very territorial and need a lot of hiding places....the white isn't as aggressive as the red or blue, and IMO d white is the nicest... Cover the top as they are master escape artist...found dis white one walkn down d drain a few times

Trying a dirted tank, top soil from la vega, aquarium gravel cap, aqua clear 50 filter, two 32 watt cfl bulbs, amazon swords, java moss, java fern, dwarf sags, jungle Val's, cabomba, neon tetras, red eye tetras, blood fin tetras, Colombian tetras, two albino red guppies. Dosing flourish excel daily and flourish once a week.

Flourish excel I got from amazon, I have a next bottle coming in this week, i was going to start weekly doses of KNO3 and KH2PO4 but I am afraid the algae might bloom, I feel I will just have to wait till the tank settles some more since the dirt is probably still leaching a lot if nutrients

No it does not have a solenoid. It is a 30lb I think, and my price is negotiable. Will throw in a couple of plants: an Amazon sword, two Anubia plants, and a vallisneria.
