Just learnt last night that old man Chai passed away. Real pioneer in fish farming and grandfather of the hobby. May he rest in peace.

Now seeing this. Sad news but he did seem to have lived a full life. Remember back in 2001 doing a project for Marketing on Ornamental Fish Farming and interviewed Old Man Chai. Very helpful. Some surprising revelations as well.

he located in chin chin, u take Monroe road , turn right by the light in cunupia, drive til you meet d police station, turn left at the lights, drive for a good 10mins or so, pass shipwreck, the landmark I use is a PVC fence on the left hand side, it's on a corner so look out for it, it's cream and white PVC, turn left onto that street, then take ur first right, road a little bad but passable, drive til u see the big yard wid the Ashoka trees, hope that helps

ur filtration needs can only be determined by the type of fish and amount u want to keep in there, 2 60gal whispers will do fine if u jus keeping sum angels but not goldfish... U cAn build ur own cannister filter wid simple materials, jus need a pump sum PVC and media
