They are not popular locally and in the US but that's because there is no distributor and its usually purchased directly from Japan and knowing their regulations these wheels should be pretty decent.

Since these rims are purchased direct from Japan it's possible that OP bought the rims fuh himself and then come here looking for validation that it looking "hard". Then figured he'd throw in the gf boast too, 2 birds ; 1 stone etc....lol.
