AllCast for Android pushes media to Apple TV and Roku

Image

If you've been eager to send cloud or locally-stored media to your TV, another option could be on the way. Currently in beta, AllCast is an Android app that streams content from places like Google Drive, Dropbox or your mobile device's storage to an Apple TV, Roku, Xbox console, Samsung Smart TV and other DLNA-compatible hardware. Although the dev behind the AirCast app -- ClockworkMod dev Koushik Dutta -- is behind the wheel here, there's currently no support for Chromecast. In order to test drive the software, you'll need to join the ClockworkMod beta testers group before nabbing the download from the Play Store (no rooting required).

Question for the boys and girls with Kindle Fire/HD/HDX - Can you watch Amazon Prime movies on your device in T&T or are they region locked (hence the need of an unblock proxy)?

Better question, do you have access to the google play store or only amazon app store?

^ I believe it's only the Amazon app store since Android is entirely customized by Amazon on the device.

Kindle comes with a android OS. Just a Amazon customised version. But you can install a custom ROM on it to be more like a stock android OS

http://www.amazon.com/HTC-Unlocked-Andr ... =htc+one+x

is this the one x y'all recommending ?

I met someone who has the Note 3 and she, like myself uses her phone a lot daily for calls, emails, fb etc etc and she said her battery has 30% life remaining after a full day use ( 8am - 10pm or later 0

How is the battery life of the one x ? This is a critical factor for me also.

Anyone checked out Zombitsu from the play store?

Game is simplistic runner like Temple Run but you can swipe Zombies and upgrade traits.

At work I have my charger.. And I'm bored sometimes. So battery life isn't always a concern. Plus I have a battery pack as well as a spare battery at any given time.
