keh.com, buy used. Tuner classified is full of good stuff too. I don't really care about shutter count. Unless it has over 50,000 actuations, whatever you buy will outlast it's relevance in the manufacturers' update cycle.thelem wrote:Looking to pass of some advice but I don't have any personal experience on the subject matter.
Someone asked me my opinion on if to purchase an import camera or USA with their purchase of a dslr. The most I could have told them is that with import or grey market you basically get no manufactures warranty or support for nikon. Also that you don't get the original packaging I.e original batteries, manual etc. But with import, you'd get a really reasonable price and some nice bundles. Which the person is actually looking at.
But like I said, personal experience In Terms of does it make sense (like battery life) knowing that you have an original product.
Feedback appreciated.

grimer wrote:Well crop bodies sensor has a multiply factor of 1.5 because of the size of the sensor itself. It's relatively small compared to a full frame 35mm sensor on a full frame camera body. So imagine any lens u put on your crop body Dslr you have to multiply the range by 1.5. So a 50mm on a crop will be 75mm you will really get. A 35mm will be equal to 52.5 mm which is closer to the original 50mm lens on a full frame sensor.
