JUST HEARD A LOUD EXPLOSION AT POWERGEN AND PLENTY SMOKE. ANYONE ELSE OBSERVED THIS.....

Lol they always do that getting rid of excess natural gas, my cousin sold his house because of that ,he lived just 1 block away from powergen.

OP, which Powergen: POS,Pt. Lisas or Penal? Please clarify.

There are only steam turbines at the POS plant operational right now; they may be venting excess steam, what colour is the smoke?

So yuh saying that the best way powergen could get rid of excess Nat gas is to ignite it?...

No natural gas driven turbines in POS so that is not what they're doing.

GUESS THEY WERE JUST VENTING AS MENTIONED BEFORE STILL HAVE ELECTRICITY . NEVER NOTICED THAT BEFORE ,ALL THESE YEARS OF WORKING POS.....

UPDATE: T&TEC is saying the outage in Endeavour is due to a fallen pole.
