Historically that's only happened once - in 2005, with 28 named storms IIRC. They reached the Greek alphabet oui.

Watch how in the 8 named storms so far, none were hurricane strength *knocks on wood*. I'd say this year's pretty dead.

White rain in St. Augustine. Serious wake getting kicked up on the main road by passing vehicles (most have their kissmihtail hazard lights on).

lightning extremely bright in barataria. i can actually see the yellow flare up in the light as it strikes. probably about 500metres away from me.
