these slow speeds only during peak hrs or round the clock?

I always wondered why we dont have a local IXP so local traffic (p2p, gaming, voip) doesn't have to go to miami & back clogging up the foreign link

I thought you would only need a DOCSIS3 modem if you want the 50Mb or 100Mb connection? (or 100Mb only)

redmanjp wrote:these slow speeds only during peak hrs or round the clock?

When everybody was recently complaining about slow speeds (from pg 32), that was happening for me. 1-2Mb in the day, full speed after about 1230am til probably 6 or 7.

On the 13th or 14th, internet disconnect for a few hours and when it come back speeds was normal since then (for me) during all hours.

Only thing is, I think they still throttling torrents.

Same. I left 2 things downloading, when i checked back, errors. Another problem I had with that site was it was only downloading from one connection. Before I had the 15mb package, just the 5mb, it would download from the 12 or so connections at max speed of 500-600 kbs.

Why would you do a speedtest to greendot chaguanas? did you really expect to get your designated bandwidth?

I see you didnt get the lol at the end of the statement what I was showing is even as a Subscriber to their 50MB package I don't get speeds higher that 5mbs to any server outside of Flow's Network. In other words I am wasting money.
However when I made a call to tell them I would like to change my package and was asked why, I told the young lady that I was not receiving the speeds I was paying for (while I understand network speed depends on traffic, distance, quality, etc.) It is better I take 5mb package and save myself some money because I only see the speed on localised networks and it does not make sense to me, but she was quick to notify me that as reported before they are willing to provide an updated modem to see if it helps with the problem.
Now we wait.

Once your router gets a internet connection you cannot login to it anymore. I had to disconnect the flow cable and connect to the Ethernet and then reset to router and then I could connect to the router and make my configurations and then connect back the flow connection and reboot the router
