other than super gas, the yaris has nothing going for it, the same design for donkey years now, the retarded centre dash gauges and a pretty cheap interior. Tiida has a lot more "customizability"

Dunno if Nissan was trying to market the world's ugliest, cheap piece of sheit car, but the Tiida is a disappointment to Nissan. Was forced to sit in one during a test drive, and I feel sorry for the suckers driving it. Best ppl buy a local used ANYTHING ELSE than a Tiida.

It is quite large inside though.

The yaris both roro and local uses super 91 RON
The Tiida however local uses premium 95 RON and roro super 91 RON

For the talks I had with both sales rep n a technician @ toyota the yaris is vry economical.
Dics pads lasting 100,000km (wud luv to c dat doh)
Fuel as if yuh running on diesel.

From my personal experience:

YARIS
Pros
- Better build Quality than The Tiida, parts last longer
- 1.3 takes uses slighly less gas that the Tiida's HR15(85bux super a week) if u driving allot)
- Slightly Slightly more comfortable that the Tiida

CONS
- 1.3 engine sound like a toy/very flimsy/chuppid and low on a power and is no where as zippy as a Tiida
- Parts cost more over nissan(Tiida shocks are like $300+ non original for eg )
- Tiida (Hatch) looks way better after yuh puh sum wims on it, bodow!

Booth are good cars imo take yuh pic! The most important thing is that
they BOOTH TAKE SUPER. when men spending zillion at the pump...yuh pullin out a 100 to full up
and getting back change

Thise FU tiidas real fast
they have Valve timing that start just after 3k
The local ones don't have this feature.
the gas milage is real good $100 super taking you almost 500km AND when your gas light comes on you can reach Sando From Arima and back to chaguanas.
The cost of a head and block is around 3500 for the tiida
The cost of a head and block is around 8000 for the 1.3 Yaris

I prefer the tiida but I understand why ppl like the yaris

^HR16? Really have variable valve timing? , I think they are pretty slow.. Feels even less powerful than the Ga16 from the B14 actually. Raced a FU latio with a GLX local cs3 lancer (1.6 SOHC cvt transmission) and kept up.. And that particular lancer is SLOW
