The larger aperture lenses are for things that move, like people, or for hand holding in low light. If all you want is landscapes.. stick to the 18-55 and the 55-200 to get more crop.

Got a review on that D5200.

http://www.dslrbodies.com/cameras/curre ... eview.html

Drawbacks

DX Lens Choice. Nikon hasn't made a lot of DX lenses that will really still shine with 24mp at the back wall. With telephoto you can always dip into Nikon's large stable of FX telephoto lenses, but at the wide end, make sure the lens exists you need.
Buffer Wall. Those 24 million pixels weren't given more room to play in; you'll fill the buffer fast, and you'll need a fast card to clear it quickly.
Banding. Really deep shadows have patterns to them.

Positives

Toshiba Delivered. To the surprise of many, the Toshiba sensor is quite good. Good enough to stand up against the best in almost every respect (deep shadow recovery notwithstanding).
Right Price. The intersection of performance, features, and price is just about right.

Does anyone have experience with an aftermarket tripod collar for the canon 70-200. F4 is lens.
Interested in getting one but find the canon version is a bit expensive.

Wow... I've been considering a fisheye for a lil while. Canon's 8-15 f/4L is too expensive for the little work I expect to get out of it. I'm actually looking at the Sigma equivalent to that Rokinon. Any editing was done to this photo?

DVSTT uses Yongnuo flashes. He can give some insight on the different models.

By the way Aaron, thanks for sharing that shot. I'm looking at the Rokinon once more as a cost effective alternative. I really don't expect to use a fisheye very much, so this definitely looks like value for money.

The tripod is a 190XPROL,sorry for replying late. It's awesome, especially love how the column can mount sideways or reverse. Anyhow, never post in a while so
