If you're a gamer I would say go with the 820 if the 920 is too expensive or big etc. Right now only the 820 and 920 have 1Gb of ram. The 620, 720 and 520 all have 512Mb of ram. Most of the newer graphic intensive games coming out on WP8 are initially coming with a 1Gb ram being a requirement. Also Microsoft do warn that some apps may not work on phones with less than 1 Gb of ram.

There will never be another Nokia smartphone
The Nokia brand name, one of the most storied marks in mobile, will never grace another smartphone.
Under the terms of Microsoft's $7.2 billion acquisition of Nokia's devices and services division, the "Asha" and "Lumia" trademarks will transfer to Redmond, but the "Nokia" mark will remain property of the Finnish company, and may only be used on feature phones running the basic Series 30 and Series 40 operating systems under a 10-year license agreement. (Nokia itself is barred from using the Nokia brand on any mobile devices at all until December 31st, 2015.) That means any future Windows Phones built by the newest division of Microsoft will be Microsoft-branded — and that Nokia has said its goodbyes to a smartphone market it once helped to create.
That's a quiet exit for what was once a powerhouse of smartphone innovation. Let's take a moment by gazing at some of Nokia's wildest smartphone designs.

From what I read, they're skipping it and just launching GDR3 sometime in October/November.
Rumour was At&t was trying hard to remove the Data Sense App which comes which it... for obvious business reasons, thats why it was kept back for so long
Btw why the hell they didn't make a 32gb 925 across the board? Such a nice phone, really can't survive with that 16GB though
fouljuice wrote:Last night when I checked it said it had an update but didn't say what.
Download update>install>restart but nothing look like it change.
So I checked again and another update showed up but with the build number for the GDR2.
Installed it and it updated the build number/added some features. But I keep 'checking for updates' hoping for the Amber update, but apparently you had to tap on the 'Store' icon and update everything else, through there.
Phone is unbranded/unlocked (no at&t,verizon, etc logo) but had a bmobile sim at the time.

I'm thinking of getting a simple Nokia Lumia as a 2nd handset.
I've never used a Windows phone so excuse the questions.
Has anyone tried the personal hotspot feature on a Lumia 520 / 620? Does it work on Bmobile / Digicel?
How can I get the handset unlocked if I need to? What's the cost?
Thanks

the hotspot works fine on the 620 (which I recommend over the 520)
The 520 is a superb personal media player tho... It's like an iPod touch with phone capability for wayyyyy less.
Both a fairly cheap unlocked on Amazon... 150 and 200
