Heard on radio this morning the 5 Trinis in Sri Lanka with the WI team asked the TTCB for a %age cut from the transfer fees for Pollard, Bravo and Narine. The board turned them down and have replaced them with 5 new players including man like Merv "the Swerve" Dillon, Daren Ganga, Justin Guillen and Stephen Katwaroo.

Pretty big events even before the CL T20 start.

the final is on that same ground (colombo), in fact all the remaining games are there. Wicket is very flat and slow. Hope west indies persist using badree and narine for the remaining game(s) due to this. Our batting will have a really hard time because of the nature of the pitch. Just one six was hit in this S.L pak game and very few boundaries. Strike rotation would be critical, something W.I suck at. All the best to us tomorrow :)

West Indies equally inept at high class spin whether it is conventional - Afridi, Ajmal or unconventional - Mendis.
