need help, I was thinking about buying an APU powered barebone system, see link below

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... &CatId=332

can you all tell me, as you can see the board comes with 2 PCIe 2.0 slots, can i still use my exsting ati radeon 4670 in one of the slots, will it crossfire with APU?

Nah it won't. You have to use a low end 6xxx series discrete graphics card to hybrid crossfire with the apu.

The cpu in the combo has a Radeon HD 6410D integrated.

thx for the help hcca, but I have another question, I have decided I want to buy this barebone (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... &CatId=332) as you can see it had dual pcie 2.0 I want to drop in a low power hd6670 gddr5 gpu but it is directx 11, can I crossfire this with my hd4670 which is Directx 10?

Nope that can't work either.

To make it simpler you can only crossfire cards from the same series (same first and second numbers in the entire model number).

Example : 4850 + 4870 = 4850x2
4870 + 4890 = 4870 x 2
5850 + 5870 = 5850 x2 etc

Note that the higher clocked card will downclock to match the lower clocked card eh. Best to have the higher spec/clocked card in the first pcie slot. The direct x capabilities won't matter as well since you can't mix different models.

nismo aim for around 35-40 degrees i have not oced an 1100t yet,
but i do have a 960t in my amd system at 4.2ghz and 27-33 degrees idle,
so i assume with the 1100t having all 6 cores on,
your temps will be a little higher than the 960t,
these thubans are really amazing for there low temps,
it doesn't even get particularly hot under load but aim at 55 as max to keep safe i already destroyed my old mobo from sustained 50 degree temps whilst playing civilizations 5 back when i had a 955 so try not to get it too high for too long,
atm its the 1333 ram that's holding it back i cant get it over 1500.
What motherboard and ram are you using?

Using an Asus Crosshair V,AMD 1100T BE O'Ced @ 4.0Ghz with Corsair H100 Push/Pull and Corsair dominators 16Gbs @ 1600Mhz.

Before my temps was around 20-25 idle and load @ 48-55.
Now its 27-33 idle and load @ 55-60.

I've also been noticing some noise coming from the H100 pump, could this be an issue?

Any help would be appreciated...

Pump does mostly make noise when air trapped inside the loop somewhere. Or when it failing like if the bearing going through. If is a low hum then that's just the pump spinning.

I getting 17 C idle/33 C max with my 1055T @ 3.5ghz, the 5850 in d loop idles at 33 C and 40 C max load. XSPC Rasa RS240 kit (no a/c). The phenom ii x6 cpus really do run cool so no immediate need to liquid cool it nah.

Adding a radeon hd 5970 to the loop now so gonna see how the temps on the cpu is.
