Responding to Ramadhar’s comments, UNC deputy political leader Dr Roodal Moonilal said, “I did not know the COP nominated or appointed her (Coudray) as Mayor. That is news to me.”

“Miss Coudray is a strong, independent woman. Former Prime Minister Patrick Manning tried to move her and he couldn’t. I wish them luck with that,” Moonilal said.

Now is a good time for the PNM...they should be regrouping and looking for a suitable leader (not Rowley or Imbert).

They should also introduce the public to new younger suitable candidates and start showing presence.....

Come up with future development projects, show that they have vision something the PP is severely lacking

By the time election comes around the marginals will sway their way...

Now is the time for the PNM to do all that? What have they been doing for the last two years?

If they were really about looking out for their members and country, they'd get rid of that council of elders which is running the party into the ground and go to a one man one vote system like the UNC. Let the grassroots elect its leaders.

Then Penelope Beckles would be elected Political Leader and give them a great shot at retaking the Government.

Come to think of it, re-instating Patos and his crew would give them a better shot than Rowley and this current crop of jokers.

Just a question. Don't you have to be a member of the UNC for a year, to run in their internal elections?

So was Miss Coudray holding dual membership?
