doesnt matter right now, you dont have any coral in the tank yet right? whats the kelvin rating on the white bulbs?

you may want to use only one white with the 2 actinic right now though, thats just my personal preference, thats alot of white light to have in your tank without any coral that needs a photoperiod and it will only fuel algae growth.

note: whenever you change/upgrade yr lights expect some algae, you might want to introduce so as not to shock the fish.

I dont know if you were answering me or UML, but my white ones saying 10,000k which is one ballast and the others are actinics on another ballast. So how do i split it??? No i dont have corals as yet. I put some polyps recently but they shrinking and not really opening up.
I called Hondab20b a few times as you told me to ask him about how to keep mushrooms and every time he was too busy to talk, so i didnt bother to take any from raj again.

yeh they are polyps, not sure if they fall in the category of soft coral, soft corals are more like leathers and mushrooms.

wrt to the lighting it depends on what else yr gonna be putting in yr tank but you'll see no ill effects for using all the lights now though. you'll need to control the nutrients in yr tank from feeding and have proper filtration though to avoid nuisance algae.

This Fish Has Teeth So Big It Bites People’s Balls Off

http://gizmodo.com/5872809/this-fish-ha ... -balls-off

Image

Piranhas might have razor sharp teeth andthe ability to communicate but I'd rather have them feast on my body than this Pacu Fish. Why? Well, you see, the Pacu Fish has human-like teeth and loves to bite off testicles to ensure you die a slow, ball-less and bleed-full death. Ow.

According to The Telegraph, the Pacu Fish is known as the 'Ball Cutter' in Papua New Guinea where locals have reported two deaths due to the impossibly scary Pacu Fish testicle bite. I kid you not. As improbable as it sounds, the Pacu Fish goes to town on the balls of fishermen and swimmers when they're in the water. I guess they enjoy the tender delicacy? I DON'T KNOW. Imagine that thing gnawing at you.

Image

The difference between the pacu fish and piranhas (other than teeth sharpness) is that pacus don't have the underbite that piranhas do, which give their set of pearly whites a more human-like appearance. Just look at that thing, it's the teeth of an enraged Lorena Bobbitt in fish form. Oh! The Pacu can grow up to 60 pounds big too which pretty much means I'm never going to New Guinea or dipping my toe in any water where Pacu call home.
