Ezone does NOT charge volumetric weight once it's air freight via the USA, as i have been saying. I confirmed this earlier in the week. Volumetric weight only applies for ocean freight and shipments from the UK, which is standard.
So please stop the misinformation.
Whoever skybox charging them volumetric weight from the US via air is getting ripped off
Check yo shipments.

that's not correct.
it might be an exception with ezone and websource (i see aeropost doesnt), but most other skybox companies charge the greater of the two between volumetric and actual weight for air freight..this has almost always been a standard practice
e.g

http://www.csfcouriersltd.com/downloads ... eights.pdf
additional point to note is that the companies that dont charge you for volumetric "make it up" by charging higher shipment rates
not all that glitters is gold
r3iXmann wrote:wait i now check ezone rates..
wtmc
Range From Range To Rate
0 2 USD$8.00

and man boastin about not gettin charge volumetric? wtmc![]()
Well my package measured 27.5 x 21.5 x 9.5 inches...accorindg to DHL's calculator the "volumetric weight" should be 41lbs
ezone charged for 10lbs.

Range From Range To Rate
0 4 USD$12.40
5 and over USD$3.10/lb
that makes it even worse![]()

what you dont pay for in volumetric, they surely make it up for by the rate/lb

A cheaper rate?...2 flight shipments a week?![]()
When your package gets to your skybox...how long after you get it in your hands brah?
Efficiency>cheap ting = you're getting ripped off

41lbs * $3 < 10lbs * $12.8

"volumetric weight" (what you guys pay) = 41 x 3.10 = $127.10 USD
Whereas they actually charged for 10lbs, 10 x 3.10 = $31.00 USD
Package in my hands the very next day, no damages, no sad story, no excuses.
Your "skybox" however...
Volumetric = 41 x 2.5 = $102.50 USD
Now IF they charged actual weight, 10 x 3 = $30USD
So as i was saying, you're comfy paying $102.50USD for a 10lb package?...
Guess your eyesight isn't that good, or your math.
31<102.50
