He stole alot more iron than just the plates....
Apparently this was goin on for months. He had a rented car and he and the other security use to move the iron in the night and sell it to a registered scrap iron dealer in claxton bay close to the highway. All together the amount of iron they stole was well over $20,000.00

I usually call for blood but in this case if its his 1st offense I would like to see some leniency. 4 children fatherless and turning into bandit worse than leaving 1 man in jail for $2,500

That has nothing to do with it. If a crime has been committed, then a suitable punishment should be applied. In our society, thieves are thrown in jail.
