Invest 95 already at a 70% probability of becoming a Hurricane.
It is already north of us and should pose no threat to T&T

^ the forecast models are saying it will start back heading west north west and then more north north west - definitely away from us

ts-maria2.gif

but those same models didnt show it taking the dip south that it did
remember this was the model from a few days ago that I posted - this was when it was invest 95 and had not become a TS yet

this is what they said it would do
september-1-1.gif

but this is what it did
ts-maria.gif

SO initially it was going north of Barbados, but now it seems Barbados will get some weather from it

Sorry but u only get very accurate hurricane projections when USA mainland under treat. We dont start up the super computer for stupid islanders.

But at least we try to run the projection and simulation programs on the fastest laptop currently available every year.

The heat build up has been terrible.External temp reading of Rav4 (standing) 37 celsius with running going down to 34.
The amazing thing is this is normally accompanied in Mc Bean with tunder showers at about 2.30pm,but this just not been happening this year with the normal frequency.
Roads after WASA and others kicking dust and nothing to wash it down.
I hope by posting the "GODS" will prove me wrong this afternoon.

Last year was a whole different story with drought in dry season and floods like that during the wet.
Oh how the forcasting of the weather could be hellish.

This no rain situation is really cause for concern when I now have to water plants.Today is thus far a carbon copy of yesterday in Mc Bean and after all the heat and apparent cloud formations not a drop.
We even had a day during the week with some thunder and stuff with really dark clouds and no rain.
I am pretty sure if this continues we will soon be hearing bad news about rainfall averages from the MET. office.
