drlancer wrote:well professor so did i, and i got the same explanation. but u know what ....the event did take place at the ARC two sundays ago and i was there. heres the thing, there were 3 classes for the event, all the classes were run off, drivers got to run grudge, fun runs and there was even prizes for the top 3 drivers in each class, and there were NO quarreling, fighting, victimization etc, like i've seen taking place before. the organizer....Autosport Promotions, a promotions company...people who know what they are doing.....not TTASA who have control of motorsport from the time i know about racing, and what do we have to show? NOTHING!!!!! think about that. there are rumors of some big event at Camden, even a release from TTASA to that effect, and they cannot even provide documentation of the approval from Brico. so what TTASA lying again? or were they trying to sabotage the event at the ARC? all i know is that the event did come off at ARC, Rawle Mahabir did live up to his word and held an event, so much for camden this monthend.

MOTOR SPORT - CAMDEN AIRSTRIP
After unimaginable tension during the past months of representation and endless negotiating of terms and conditions, TTASA is pleased to formally announce that we have been granted permission to use the Camden Airstrip for our motorsport activities.
In the spirit of cooperation by which the lease was effected, TTASA was expected to enter the airstrip before July 24th to prepare the facility for our events which we had actually hoped to start on July 31st 2011. However, to date we have been unable to secure physical possession of the airstrip.
Our negotiations and meetings with the relevant authorities have been very productive and indeed there have been many meetings.
HOWEVER, our efforts to enter the property have been met with hostility from Briko Air Services who presently occupy the airstrip apparently without any documentation!
Briko has refused to attend meetings with the MP for the area and authorities from the various Ministries. TTASA’s Management has even attempted to meet with Briko privately as well , in order to work out an amicable solution that would not threaten them in any way, but the results have been disappointing.
Whilst our legal occupation begins on July 24th 2011, the authorities have asked us to exercise restraint in this matter even though we will be the legal tenants on that date.
So we stand down awaiting further instructions. Meanwhile we have another meeting carded for this week of July 25th when we hope to have a resolution on the matter of possession.
So in a nutshell fellow racers, enthusiasts and fans we stand with the authorities on our side awaiting a peaceful entrance to our temporary home. Patience is a virtue except when racing!!!
We are racers, so we exercise restraint while planning victory. We know that the law of the land will apply and we know it will not be compromised for any particular person or company. We are the legal occupants as of July 24th. We hold the lease.
We, as the ASN / NSO, have pursued the correct channels. We have made tremendous strides in an effort to resume all variations of motorsport but we are being obstructed. We do believe it will be resolved this week. We wait, impatiently.
For those who are looking forward to the event next weekend, we sincerely apologize, since within the limited time, the necessary preparatory works cannot be completed.
However, once this matter is resolved on July 25th, we shall inform you of the new date of our first event.
We sincerely wish to thank you all for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Can someone indicate exactly who this “the authorities” group comprises? And who are the “authorities from the various Ministries” exactly? Its a little vague...for information sake.

No. I want to buy some tickets for the three car raffle, but I want to see the original documents from the Police and the NLCB, because the people behind the raffle have a 'History'. Don't you find that is a stupid request ?
How much men ask they GF / Wife for a Certificate of Virginity or if they Aids free ?
Anyway, continue with your hate, it would consume you, I know, everytime I pray and ask God to "forgive my trespasses' as I forgive those who trespass against me"
I remember Gary Hunt. I am sure God just shakes his head and sighs.
This is my last comment on this matter (TTASA, MATT, AutoSport, Haters unlimited ).
