pretty cool - even better when you within range of the airport and you have a pair of binoculars, you can follow along.

it's legal to listen in but it's illegal to broadcast on the frequency unless you're the holder of a valid radio telephony operator's license, issued by the civil aviation authority.

lol.. go up on flight tracker and see what flights scheduled in and out. after 10 tings does slow down in the airport eh ...

try around 7am. or anytime in de day actually.. pretty busy. flight tracker gives u the flight number.. so then tings will start to make sense.

but it's a lot of codes. so u need to know the phonetic alphabet:

frequency busy now.. usually so between 7 and 10 am daily.

from what i'm hearing, this web link is broadcasting piarco appraoch, piarco tower, piarco ground and the piarco apron frequencies!

good stuff.

Hmm a mid day I heard one of the Briko pilots say "Ey waz de scene" and the controller replied saying "I cool man".

I rel didnt believe it. Trinis for you yes.

As you mention that... Yesterday while listening to Roger & Charlie, I couldn't help notice how "raw" them fellas was talking.. How the fak dem foreign pilots does understand dem locals? I sure plenty guess work does be taking place in the sky over Trini :lol:

BTW, dem alcoholic ATC men obsess with Dancing with the Stars boi... Whole day is "Whiskey, Tango & Foxtrot" :?

edit: Forget to tell allyuh that Naina, the gyul from the "Jep Sting" song also working in ATC.. She probably ah ditty thing because whole day dem fellas calling she name

u need to have physics and math and training is done at the Civil Aviation Training Centre in Mausica

there is a course starting in May for aerodrome controllers
