We were headin to the grand for a troll but an intermittent electrical issue stopped us from reaching that far so we cut our losses and banked for a while.

i don't mind, but we used a canoe in the bay, belongs to my friend...as long as he says its spacious i'll call ya, still have your digits.

DM16, a 4x4 is fine, 2wd pickups need some weight in the back to get things going..
i've driven down with the wagon, corolla, panel van already..

shore luck may be better now though...fish seem to be around, but the canoe is the bombdiggity, quick around the bay and nice paddle work out.

a scene if big ones are caught though...the snapper had to get oar-ed to death to stay still and the kingfish lost his head after the biting incident :|

mad fun though :D

accept no thief head about your caught species, confirm exactly what you caught and read about them:

http://www.fishbase.org/

type in the common name, redfish, grande ecaille, lippy, cavali, brochet, ancho all work and trinidadian species can be searched for specifically

with respect to the groupers, the smaller ones are better to keep since the fully grown ones, the MONSTERS, are the onse dat actually reproduce....most ppl dont know that only a fully matured grouper will produce offspring...dat said, i ent sayin go and keep every lil grouper yuh ketch wen yuh head out dey but be conservative with the juveniles since we seein a decrease in the sports from shore now...

Depth was around 140 feet and the grouper's swim bladder was up his throat too so it didnt make sense throwin him back, he wasn't gonna make it. My son had him for dinner so he didn't go to waste.
