what materials/requirements must be present for getting a WASA connection on a piece of land?

must a tap be installed?

you have to buy the fittings and pipe dat goes from the land to the connection on the road....wasa only will come to connect ur stuff to the mains. So yea, u'll need to put a lock-off valve on the piece of land. Make sure you putting ur stuff underground onetime..wasa recommends about 2 or 3 feet below, so if its jus a empty lot, u might have to dig a lil trench
