Who see it last night? De pothoung dat run out on de field of play while T&T was trying dey bess to win against North Korea? De referee, who was looking quite hot I must add, had to stop the game so dat the FIFA official could try and catch de dog. Oh what a lovely way for T&T to make the ESPN highlight reels :):)

Trinidadian radio DJs urged fans to come out in their numbers to cheer on the Soca Princesses in Couva. As the team were going to be donning white on the night, supporters were urged to skip their usual red and go white as well. Unfortunately for the nearly 10,000 home fans turned up, their presence, nor their white shirts, were enough to push the home side into the quarter-finals. They did, however, seem to get quite a collective giggle out of an energetic spotted dog who invaded the pitch, holding up play for a few funny minutes.

Yes,the dog incident was quite funny.However let us not fail to recognise a group of young ladies who certainly showed real grit and desire and who should get our respect and admiration.How many of us have the capacity to do what these under 17's have done.

dem girls went out and tried hard. it was the best showing of fight by a tnt football team i have seen in a while. in the nigeria game the were not nearly as good tactically and physically but those girls never gave up. Kudos to them.
