meh
I rather drive my 7 year old euro that's worth 44% of what it was sold for than spend my time arguing with the insurance company over the value of my high resale japanese car that was just stolen.........
I have a Corolla and a Mazda pickup that are so damn limited in terms of liming optins because we always worrying about them getting them stolen.........no such issue with the euros........I park either of them in the mall and never worry about them...........I just make sure there's nothing in them worth breaking the glass for

nope
ever try stealing a newer euro?
even if you manage to get my engine started, the transmission will not engage because (a) the key / remote did not unlock the door and (b) the key did not turn the ignition switch......it won't respond to a hotwire either......plus the factory alarm will shut the whole system down in any event, because once you forcibly enter the car, the interior motion sensor will trip...........heck if I lock you in the car with the remote, you cannot even unlock the car from inside......none of the door locks will respond from inside...the owner's manual warns against locking people in the car for this reason........they will be trapped
I not saying you can't steal my car, but car thieves typically look for easy targets.........and euros just not worth the trouble

truth is; that same guy was at the mall when the car went missing; heck he even was talking to the security right after we spoke to them. then when we arrived at the station to make the report
guess who arrived right behind us....................yup that's right the guy with the wrecker. and no his car was not stolen.
