Does anyone know how coast guard training is? how long does it be for and details? 8-)

i wonder if your allowed visitor or you can have your cell phone on you in there?

are you serious? CG training lasts around 6months. you are not allowed visitors nor electronic devices. however, you get weekend passes every six weeks according to the groups performance. they are also given visitor hours SOMETIMES. for instance... the current CG trainees, have been let out twice since they went in in Early December. they were allowed 4hrs visitors access on Carnival Sunday.

so its like your shut off from the world when you go in for training and deepending on your performance every 6 weeks your allowed to go home on the weekend?

the training is 12-16 weeks, it depends on the progress made by the intake/ recruits through the training course...navigation, skills at arms & recruits assessments is what holds back the training basically.. "too much dunce fawkers getting in the service"

if you are a dunce, lazy man who likes to sleep, the CG is not for you!... "go work cepep!"

look on the bright side, it's not as tough as the army training. Trust Meh!
