Banks not opening tomorrow (31/12/2009)?

can anyone confirm?....Just got a call that "Friday banking Hours" are being applied today and the Banks will be closed tomorrow...

This is for FCB....

Scotia try this already and it wasn't a success. Plus I wud imagine if dem bigger banks try dat dey go hadda start charging yuh more fees 'cos their employees go be demanding higher salaries for working on saturdays.

one of the issues for banks not opening on a Sat is batch processing of transactions (esp international ones that depend on Forex rates (when the markets are closed on a weekend)) for accuracy.

so why do banks open on a Saturday in the US? :roll:
