If yuh replay the video and pause it as soon as Bolt crossed the finished line, you'll see that the actual time he crossed was in fact 9.3.... :| :|

I doubt the Olympic grade timing system was wrong

Interesting observation. I slowed down the video and saw the same thing. So, does the clock stop running after his entire body crosses the line? Even then, he'd still be in around 9.4.

its possible that the official timing system and the tele times may have not been synchronized properly. But the argument is justified based on photographic evidence...

he scary fast tho, and to think that off the line he usually never leads. As the pros say, when he becomes an even more mature runner of this 100m discipline with better technique he will surely be even faster, it really leaves no chance for another runner in the same event as him.

yep....when his entire body crossed the finish line, the clock recorded a 9.4 sec run...I dunno if the TV camera clock time was the same as the grade timing system they used to record his victory...

He was so fast that the timing system couldn't identify him :faint:

Congrats to Yard...They make me proud to see such talent in full bloom. The women race was awesome too. Excellent launch by Fraser but I always love to see Kerron Stewart's power.

Caribbean looks good in Germany. :D :D 8-)

Maybe he did run a 9.3 but wouldnt they compensate for a head wind that was in their favour?

What's also nice to see is the other sprinters are running real good times, so it doesn't get boring.
