try eatin less.. during the digestive process the stomach commands more blood flow and as a result reduces flow to other areas of your body, hence the reason you feel tired.

The more you eat, the more work your stomach has to do to digest the food. A buss up shot is alot of food, most times its enough for 2 ppl to eat comfortable, which is why when you eat the rice you don't feel SO sleepy.. It also takes 20 minutes for the signal to register to your brain that you've eaten enough, so also try eating slower.

Spring Chkn, is correct.....take a piece of roti and put it in some water and leave it for a bit......it would get bigger.....hence more work would be needed to digest it....

only when I eat "prayers food" but these days when I eat 3 doubles I get that feeling.
But as Spring Chkn said its the food digesting which draws the blood. When I was in form 4-5 our Agricultural Science teacher told us that, he also said that if it was up to him he would put all the hard subjects in the morning. The funny thing though when we had Agri before and after lunch he used to tell us not to eat heavy
