Violent crimes are being committed at younger ages in many countries, including T&T, says Prime Minister Patrick Manning. He made the comment at a Caricom conference on violence prevention in St Kitts on Monday.
He stated that not only had youth violence grown in most of the region in recent decades, but young people have become both victims and perpetrators. “Our Caricom Youth Commission has advised of the urgent need to address crime and violence among the youth population in the community,â€
"Improved technology and communication, as well as increased travel and trade have facilitated criminal networks in the development of their transnational capacity.â€
What we PM know about crime.......and crime in the reason why crime in the region is rising is because our crime is rising. Even Jamacia's crime rate is slowing down, while ours continues to increase exponentially.....

Oh let me guess- this was disclosed after a "study" was done at a cost of 2 billion dollars by some unknown professions.
Well if they would ACTUALLY concentrate on the SOCIAL aspects of the country and construct more community centres, rather than Stadiums and Waste fo time buildings, they might actually make a difference.
