need help finding owner of abandoned BMW

ok, this is going to be a strange thread. the St James police keeps calling me about a BMW 5series abandoned at the Hyyatt or Marriot, i cant remember which hotel. the car once belonged to my mother. we sold it a couple months ago to someone who re-sold it. now the car is abandoned and the police pulled a certified copy and apparantly the only person they can contact was us. so since they keep bothering me for assistance, i'm posting the car number. anyone knowing the owner, please pm me.

Brokade red (near brown)
520i
at the time of sale, vehicle was in showroom condition.

^^believe me the thought has crossed my mind. but when trouble come looking for yuh, well.........its not worth it. some kinda thing gone on there and i dont want to be part of it.

sad thing is, we transferred the car. i'm now hearing the certified copy still has the original owner's name!

Well then, get a lawyer involved and have something recorded on file somewhere, other than " But I tell the police so.."

will do. i will also take a drive and make sure its still the same car. next thing you know its a different bmw with my plates. anyone in the area fell free to pass and take some pics and post for me. thanks

Had a problem like this with a Honda Legend a few years ago, didnt see the owner come back and had no way of contacting him.

TL you have a copy of the recipt you gave the guy and if he paid by check shouldn't you have a record of that also there should also be a copy of the recipt that was paid to license office when you transfered the car

yeah Canadian Bacon. thanks. gave them the info. saw the car myself at the marriot. seems to have been there a while. one tyre seems flat.
sad.....that car basically never saw sunlight for ten yrs. now it abandoned beating weather.

i hope the owner is fine.

Better separate yourself from that. An abandoned BMW in a hotel?? So didn't the police ask the hotel management about the car? No security cameras? No guards on duty saw who parked the car? Instead they call you? Wow...Trinidad.
