Fellow tuners, we need your help. Vicky was involved in a tragic crash at camden airstrip on 12th October 2008. He is currently warded at San Fernando Hospital and still needs 8 pints of blood to carry on with the operation. We are asking all those who are willing to give blood to please help. We will also pay you for it. Once again, please help. Those interested can go to San Fernando General Hopsital and ask where they can go for screening to give blood for Vicky Samlal. Got one from a fellow tuner for you, going by Blood Bank in POS in about fifteen minutes to get screened and drop off his chit as well. Hopefully I can give and will do so one time. All I can say is just pray.

Just came back, I gave and I have the other chit as well, so two pints there. My friend is gonna get back to me tonight to see if he has any in the bank right now if so either this afternoon or in the morning he will organize on behalf of his brother and mother so hopefully two more.

For those up North who may wish to give, there is no need to go to San Fernando. You can go either to POS Blood Bank or Mt, Hope. Give there, and get the chit with Vicky’s name and indicate that he is at the San Fernando Hospital; and have this sent to the San Fernando Hospital via friend or family or Tuner.

And I make my usual appeal at this time for each and everyone, who is not on regular medication, and consider themselves fairly healthy, to not wait until this type of emergency backs you into a corner.

Please make that effort for you and/or your friends to give blood on a regular basis.

Sheldon just called me from Miami and told to let you know that he spoke to three members of the Partytime Racing team about giving blood for vicky if needed. Fellas, not to sound pessimistic, but be careful if you giving blood at Mt. Hope and want it sent somewhere else. My uncles gave blood at Mt. Hope for my grandmother coz she had cancer and we could not get it transferred to Port of Spain.

End result we had to buy 2 pints of blood
